FAQs
Where Are You Located?
I am located at a private studio in Arvada CO! If you would like to meet in person for an appointment or consultation please fill out a contact me intake form. Thank you!
How Far Are You Booked?
My books are typically open! So no worries on securing a spot with me! I work Tuesdays-Sundays typically but message me for any exceptions.
What Is Your Hourly Rate?
My current rate is $150 an hour, my minimum is $120 for any tattoos that take me 30 minutes or less with no color or shading. With color or shading is going to be a minimum of $150.
I only charge you when you are in the chair and I am actively tattooing you. I DO NOT charge you for breaks such as to eat or use the restroom.
I offer flat rates but ONLY for MY FLASH. Any of the work I have in my physical portfolio or that I post up on my socials will have the best discounts for prices.
There is also a $150 NON REFUNDABLE Deposit required to Book.
How Do I Book With You?
You can book with me through my website here or through my email, littlegoblintattoos@gmail.com. I will NOT respond to any DMs on social media, texts or calls. All bookings must be from here or emails. I am not trying to intentionally ignore you, I just have several platforms that allow for messages and cannot keep track of them all so emails are the best way to get my attention. Also please allow up to 48 hours for a response.
Remember when booking to give me a description of what you’re waiting and what days you have available as well as size and placement of your future tattoo.
Do I Need A Deposit To Book With You? What Is A Deposit?
Yes, there is a $150 NON REFUNDABLE deposit required with every booking. I accept deposits through Venmo, PayPal and Cashapp. Your $150 goes towards securing your booking as well as the time I put in to draw your design.
I understand that life happens so I allow for ONE reschedule before I ask for a rescheduling fee. If you reschedule more than once with me, I will require another $150 deposit. That being said, if I have to reschedule you for my own reasons, that fee will be waved.
If you are 30 minutes late for your appointment or if you are under the influence then I will be forced to reschedule with you. But if you are thinking you are running late please notify me! I can make certain exceptions.
If you do not notify me 24 hours in advance of your cancellation/reschedule, I will consider that a no call no show and forfeits your deposit.
How Do I Prepare For My Tattoo?
Well first you need to be super excited! But here is a guide to what you need for a successful tattoo session with me!
Get Proper sleep the night before!
Drink LOTS of Water and avoid alcohol in any amounts the day before your appointment. Stay HYDRATED and also bring a water bottle!
Eat a hearty meal before your session! Snacks as well as lunches are also highly encouraged to bring to your appointments as well!
Please come to your session properly bathed and cleaned up! Not only does it help benefit your skin and provide a clean canvas for the session, but also helps my nose as my services require me to work closely to you.
Please wear proper clothing attire for your appointment that allows for easy access to the desired tattooed area! Loose fitting shirts/tank tops and comfy shorts are often the go to! You will also more then likely get ink on your clothes so wear something you are okay to get dirty.
You are not required at all to shave the area before your session but I won’t ever be upset if you do! Just make sure to moisturize and avoid getting razor burn in the area before your appointment please! If you don’t shave don’t worry! I will shave the spot before applying your stencil/design.
I will not be able to tattoo you if the area you want tattooed is sunburned. We will have to reschedule you for another date to allow the skin to heal.
Do not come to your appointment under the influence. If you are under any kind, I will ask that we reschedule for another time.
Kids are always welcome in the studio but are not recommended. I do perform a delicate and sterile procedure that also comes with biohazard risks. Due to that and the safety of any wandering little goblin, I recommend they stay home if possible.
Please feel free to bring an emotional support human! 1 or 2 guests are always allowed but any more then that will make the studio feel cramped as a fair warning. So please no parties.
You are also recommended to bring anything to help you distract from the pain so long as it doesn’t affect me as I actively tattoo. A book, headphones, blanket, anything for comfort works!
Do You Tattoo Anyone Under 18?
My age limit for tattoos is 16! I WILL NOT TATTOO YOU IF YOU ARE YOUNGER THAN 16! NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are below 18, you will need to have your parent or legal guardian sign a consent form for you. That means they will need to be present for the tattoo. You will also need to have some sort of photo ID for yourself, whether that’s a permit, school ID, Passport etc. You will need to have your parent’s ID as well. If your last names do not match, you will also need the birth certificate and any paperwork that states legal guardianship.
I WILL NOT tattoo your hand, face, or neck if you are below the age of 18.
How Can I Pay You For My Tattoo?
I accept payments through Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp and with Cash itself.
If you are paying with PayPal, please do not put it under Business but through Friends/Family. It will take a chunk of money out if it is under Business.
I do accept card payments as well!
Can I See My Design Before The Appointment?
Unfortunately I do not send out designs before the appointment, that is to protect myself and my art. Typically I do not start working on your design until a week before the appointment due to working on designs for appointments before yours. If you would like to make any changes, we can make them day of the appointment. That being said, please be as descriptive as possible when sending an inquiry form.
Can I Use Numbing Cream?
I allow numbing creams! I recommend Painless Tattoo numbing cream or Green Caine.
When using a cream, make sure to wash the area with warm water or take a hot shower. Shave the area then afterwards put a generous amount of numbing cream on desired spot. Once it’s on, wrap with cling/plastic wrap. You’ll want to leave the numbing cream on for a minimum of 2 hours before the tattoo.
I also have bactine that I can use on you after we’ve already been tattooing. Bactine only works once the skin is broken.
If you have a numbing cream you have that you want to use, notify me! Make sure it is not from a shady supplier or in a suspicious container. Some creams can cause chemical burns to the skin.
Do You Do Coverups?
I have done a fair amount of coverups but am still learning all the things so please email or contact me to see what I can do for you!
That also being said, scars are no issue for me though. If you are trying to cover up a scar please be sure that the scar is white and not pink. If you tattoo over a scar that is not fully healed then it could exaggerate the scar and make it more noticeable.
Do You Travel Or Do Conventions?
I am still very new to tattooing so don’t have any current plans to travel out of state yet, however I will be doing as many local conventions that I can here in Colorado!
